We would love to rehabiliate and rehome all the horses that come into our care, but many have injuries or other issues that prevent them being rehomed as a ridden horse or companion.  Those horses remain in our Sanctuary at Greatwood for the remainder of their lives and if assessed as suitable go on to have a second career in helping our visiting children with special educational needs.
